Looking forward to joining the team.

Hyundi Coupe Cup – 24/03/2018

As we live in a digital age and most photos that are taken are very rarely printed, its always nice to see my photos published, whether that is for my sons bedroom wall or the local paper.

This time my work has found its self into the programme for todays race meeting at Silverstone.

Say hello to my new Logo

And the votes have been counted:

51nr for Black and Blue

26nr for White and Blue

I will try this for the next few months and see how things go. I’ve had feedback that people prefer my old one as this new style is a little distracting. I appreciate the feed back however I want something that stands out from the photo and this why I decided to change.

I really want to  thank everyone who took the time to vote.

Colour Splash

I’ve read previously that by adding a colour splash effect to a photo you are trying to make a boring photo interesting.

I disagree with this, I’m a huge fan of colour splash and used on the right photo I think it makes such dramatic effect .

About me – update

When I 1st started shooting motor sports I never would have imagined where it would take me.  It’s now 2018 and I’m just about to begin my 3rd full season. I’m lucky that I will be starting where I left off from last year with one of the British GT4 teams, Ultratek. I am proud to say that I am their official photographer again this year and I really am looking forward to getting back to doing what I love.

My journey might have been short compared to a lot of photographers I have met, however I am amazed at the level of support I have received. It’s amazing how many people I have met and how many of them always seem to have time for a chat, from Team principles to drivers to engineers even on race days.

The level of support from the fans and the encouragement from other photographers is truly inspiring and its this encouragement that only pushes me forward to try to develop my skills to try to be the best I can be.

Because of this I have started to try to branch out to portrait photography, this is a must as I need to develop this skill to capture the drivers and engineers around the garages and on the grids.

I’m hoping 2018 is as big, if not bigger than 2017.

See you around the track.

Well Media day is over!

Had a fantastic time, the team is all geared up for the coming season. Cars look absolute stunning! with a fantastic Psychedelic wrap which changes colour in the sunshine.

British GT Pre Media day – What’s in the Box?

On the eve of my 1st media day I’ve been looking back on last season and I’ve decided to try and do things different this year. I’m not sure if this will work but once again I’m having to up my game as there are so many really great photographers out there.

Big question is.

What’s on the Box???

See you on the track.

Less than a week to Media day!!!

There is now less than a week to the British GT Media day.

This will be the 1st time I have attended and I’m proud to say that I will be attending as media working for a Team.

I’m not going to say who, you’ll all just have to wait and see 🙂
